You have been abducted and a parasite has been implanted inside your body. Fight back or lose your body to the intruder.

Overview

Unwanted Host is a Psycological Horror game Point & Click with a PSX aesthethic.

Manage your turn time and resources to keep your body healthy. Find out the parasite and kill it before it is too late.

How to play

1. You and the parasite take turns. Play before the timer runs out, then it’s the parasite’s move.
2. The parasite acts each turn, hiding in different organs, damaging them or increasing your heartbeat. 
3. Use items to locate and eradicate the parasite, or heal yourself to resist its influence. Each item takes time to use, so manage your turn carefully. New items appear at the start of your turn and can be rerolled for a time penalty.
4. The parasite can damage your organs. Each damaged organ becomes increasingly corrupted with each turn. If three organs are fully corrupted, the parasite takes over.
5. Your cardiac system can become critical. If your heartbeat gets too high, you risk a fatal heart attack. Stabilize it to survive.
6. When you kill the parasite, take new upgrades and items, and fight a new parasite threat.

Controls

• Interact and use items: Mouse (LMB).
• Drop down items: Mouse (RMB).
  
• Zoom in Out: Mouse (Wheel).
• Exit Game: Escape in main menu.
• Pause Menu: Escape in Game and Tutorial.
